EPJ Photovoltaics now indexed in Ei Compendex

We are pleased to announce that EPJ Photovoltaics is now indexed in the Ei Compendex , joining over 3,600 high-quality peer-reviewed journals. These journals cover a vast number of areas, such as, materials science, applied physics and optics, and instrumentation and nanotechnology.

EPJ Photovoltaics – EDP Sciences’ Open Access journal is now indexed by Scopus.

Scopus is widely recognised as one of the most comprehensive abstract and citation databases of peer reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world’s research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and humanities.

Commenting on the news, Ariana Fuga, Senior Publishing Editor at EDP Sciences, said “A new journal indexation is always cause for celebration amongst our editorial team. It shows that the hard work of every contributor – from editors, to reviewers, and authors themselves – is being recognised and that the Journal is seen as an authoritative voice in the discipline, and will be more widely discoverable as a result.”

EDP Sciences signed an agreement to preserve Journals with Portico (April 2015)

EDP Sciences is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Portico to provide a permanent archive of the e-content for many of their key journals. Through this agreement, institutions participating in Portico’s E-Journal Preservation Service will be assured continued access to EDP Sciences content for generations of their scholars in the future.

Current data will be sent to Portico as soon as the e-journal is published, and a full list of the journals committed to the Portico archive is available at http://www.portico.org/digital-preservation/who-participates-in-portico/participating-publishers/edp.

EDP Sciences launches EPJ.org mobile app. Available and free to download from the iTunes App Store and from Google Play (for Android devices).

EPJ Photovoltaics Now available on ePUB format! (February 2015)

EDP Sciences is pleased to announce the introduction of the ePUB digital format for all EPJ Photovoltaics articles.

We have extended our existing suite of publication formats (PDF, HTML) to include ePUB, offering a range of formats to suit our readers varying needs.

ePUB is a format used for digital documents, it will allow scientific articles to be read on most of specialized eReaders and tablets.

The ePUB version will allow to download scientific texts and to read them very easily in an offline environment. ePUB adapts to suit different screen sizes, making for optimum text display and greater reading comfort.
