EPJ Photovoltaics contributes to the UN's sustainable development goals

In December 2022 we announced our membership of the UN SDG Publishers Compact, and in May 2023 we announced about the new ‘EDP Sciences: UN SDGs research collection’ on ScienceOpen. Several EDP Sciences journals have already pledged their commitment to the SDGs including EPJ Photovoltaics.

EPJ Photovoltaics promotes and supports papers and special issues that contribute to the achievement of the UN's sustainable development goals, in particular SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

EPJ Photovoltaics is an Open Access journal which publishes original, peer-reviewed papers focused in the field of photovoltaic solar energy conversion. Authors in the field of crystalline, polycrystalline, thin film (silicon, CIGS, organic) and third generation PV are called to submit their research letters and regular articles for a fast publication and broad audience (open access). The journal will also promote interaction with research topics related to high efficiency cells such as materials and structures for optical trapping, third generation concepts. Moreover, we aim to establish solid links with the research activities in the field of modules, systems and PV deployment.

EPJ PV is part of the European Physical Journal (EPJ) series. EPJ is a series of peer-reviewed journals covering the whole spectrum of physics and related interdisciplinary subjects. Journal topics include Characterization and Modelling, Organic Materials and Devices, High Efficiency Materials and Devices - New concepts etc. (all topics).
